We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support patients with daily personal care and assist healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services. This role is vital in ensuring patients feel comfortable, supported, and respected during their care.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs (e.g., temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
Support patients with mobility and physical therapies.
Help with patient meals, including preparation, feeding, and hydration.
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing bed linens and cleaning equipment.
Report any changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Follow health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filling out forms or updating patient records.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
A caring and empathetic nature with strong communication skills.
Basic understanding of patient care and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physically fit to carry out the responsibilities of the role.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid is a plus.
Desirable Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
